Weekend: Here’s What Happened

I decided to go completely offline for 48
hours. No social media, no emails, no scrolling. Just me, my thoughts, and a
little discomfort.
Day 1 was tough. I reached for my phone out
of habit more times than I could count. But by the afternoon, I started
noticing things I’d normally overlook—like how good my coffee tasted and how
quiet the house was.
Day 2 felt freeing. I journaled, went for a
walk, and actually finished a book. I slept better that night than I had in
weeks.
After the detox, I realized how much of my
attention had been hijacked by screens. Now, I’ve made some lasting changes:
- No phone for the first hour after waking
- Tech-free meals
- Scheduled phone breaks
Try it. Just one weekend. You might be
surprised at how refreshed you feel.
