Why I Switched to
Slow Living (and How You Can Start Too)

I used to pride myself on being busy. My
calendar was always full, my to-do list endless. But I was burning out. Slow
living didn’t happen overnight—it was a conscious decision to stop glorifying
busy and start choosing better.
I began with tiny changes: walking without
my phone, cooking without rushing, saying no to plans I didn’t want.
Slow living doesn’t mean doing nothing. It
means doing things with intention and presence. I now:
- Plan downtime
- Prioritize sleep
- Cook mindfully
- Schedule less
Want to try? Start by cutting one thing from your schedule. Breathe. Notice. Slow down. Your mind and body will thank you.
